Gonna try and keep this mostly spoiler free... but the game is short and free, so skipping the reviews and going in blind is probably your best bet.

This game was great. The menu was very charming and Silas's sprites were both visually appealing and expressive. 10/10 would ruffle his hair.

I was also quite pleased that we got to see the kitty, It's a smaller detail, but the sight of her curled up in his arms definitely swayed Ending 3 to my #1 spot.

My only major problems all come down to this having been made in a day rather than any skill issues.

The lack of CGs/sprites harmed the impact of endings 1 and 3. The description isn't bad, but I found it left much to be desired in the way of imagery. Even without artwork drawing the moment out longer and being more descriptive would've enhanced the impact. It also doesn't help how fucking cute the last sprite we see of him is.

Having a section where you talk to Silas online before meeting with him at the bookstore or more hints as to what's going on in other ways would have made for a more interactive experience. Sort of like a puzzle you can put together before the story reaches its climax. As it stands, the ending felt abrupt. I knew something was off, but I'm not sure this plot works as well (keywords: as well) as a short story. That isn't to say I couldn't enjoy it, because I definitely did.

I hope this make sense!
